Lyariites took to the streets after midnight in protest against operation launched by the police in assistance with the Frontier Constabulary (FC).

Lee Market Chowk looked like a battlefield after a clash between the police and protesters.

Protesters damaged armored vehicle as they hurled petrol bomb on it. The fire engulfed the nearby shop due to this bomb.

The hardest hit areas included Lee Market, Daryabad, Nayabad and others.
