At this point in 2007, the frontrunner and supposed lock on the nomination for the GOP was Rudy Giuliani, followed by Fred Thompson.
On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton was way out in the lead. Fox is primarily ignoring Ron Paul, who is one of the most moderate of the current crop. He's far more libertarian than conservative in both his economic and social views. He at least gets his name mentioned on the other networks. Fox pretends he's not in the room. |
