Please, please, please stop referring to the current tax law as the "Bush Tax Cuts." They have been the tax law of the land since 2001 & 2003. You are NOT "cutting taxes", you are continuing the tax laws of the last decade.

Bush was President in 2001. He decided to cut taxes from their previous levels. Ergo, the current law of the land is, in fact, Bush tax cuts.

They are the same cuts that, along with his personal vendetta war, got us into this deficit mess. Deal with it.

Agreed, Claire. As much as the conservative pundits and Republicans want to spin this as something else, these were tax cuts. Twice. It's a hard sell to cut taxes on the wealthy, especially when they already voted lettting everyone's taxes rise because it didn't include those who make more than a million dollars a year.
