This is why you've got the far right going apoplectic and trying to create confusion for voters: They don't want those voters to actually be able to find Murkowski on the write-in list even though they fully intend to vote for her.
That's how the founding fathers intended it, right? Politico: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1010/44403.html A third survey of the Alaska Senate race released this week shows write-in candidate Lisa Murkowski with a substantial lead. Murkowski received 37 percent, Republican Joe Miller received 27 percent and Democrat Scott McAdams received 23 percent, according to the Dittman Research and Communications poll released Friday afternoon. Thirteen percent of voters were undecided. This is the third poll released in two days to show Murkowski with a substantial lead – and the first poll from a Miller supporter to show him trailing the incumbent. Dittman has done some polling and media work recently for Miller. “I think in the long term, when you look at the last two months, the situation isn’t as volatile as it may have appeared,” Dittman told POLITICO. “The number of unsure sure exceeds the difference between the top two candidates.” Two other polls released this week paint a similar picture to Dittman’s survey – that of Miller losing ground and Murkowski picking up speed. A Hellenthal & Associates poll, sponsored by the pro-Murkowski political action committee Alaskans Standing Together, showed Murkowski with 43 percent support, while Miller had 29 percent and McAdams had 23 percent. |
