Sorry to keep asking questions, but why does Social Security need ammunition?

Could be. But it obviously is no secret.

Maybe they want the ammo available in the event of multi domestic terrorist attacks by blacks and Muslims. Or black Muslims. Or the Amish.

One theory (which has some standing after a trial run in florida, I believe) is that, in the event of economic collapse.. The SS offices will be swamped with people demanding money that doesn't exist. Or that they refuse to hand out. Or that they do hand out, but not to everyone..

And the staff will be firing hollow points at everyone? I wonder if they get hazardous duty pay during training and/or if they shoot during the riot? The union will have to look into that.

But what about the ammo going to the people mentioned in the article who in charge of the national fisheries?

I haven't seen a theory on that..

Reasonable options seem to be:

1) The federal government may need to mobilize them at some point, for reasons currently unknown.. Perhaps to act independently? Or perhaps to back up other agencies?

OR

2) There may be the anticipation of widespread anger at government employees in general.. And they will need to protect themselves.
