Default Retard Soldiers Think They Pay Taxes?!??!?
If I give you $20, that I stole from some other person, and I say you have to give $4 back, did you pay a $4 tax?!?

Of course not! You just earned $4 less!

But every soldier I ever met thinks that they are taxpayers!

These guys are fucking retards...

it depends on IF they are allowed to adjust their exemptions at their own personal discretion. IF they are NOT allowed to do this, then yes. they pay no taxes, but have a mandetory deduction from their gross salary.

Had this argument (through facebook messages) with my friend just yesterday. He works for the state of California. Smart guy, but simply could not understand this concept. Didn't like being told he wasn't contributing to society.

but some do contribute to society. the guy i know in the Navy kept a meltdown from occuring. dont know if hes taxed or not. if i were to charge the fed 4 thousand dollars an hour for finding a cure for cancer, and i did, and they automaticly took away some for a tax, then it wouldnt be a tax but a deduction.

My friend's job is unlikely to have him stopping any meltdowns. He serves s function, and there is a reason for his job, but he costs the taxpayers money without contributing. They all do. They are all a cost. They are only worth what we actually need them for, and we have far too many of them.

You're missing the point. When you get your entire check from taxes, having some deducted isn't really paying taxes. It's like taking water from one end of the pool and pouring it in the other end. You aren't adding any water, just moving it around.

Not if he's only collecting government checks. He's a net tax cost not a tax payer. Those are the facts.

You really are a lame brain, lame ass Motherfucker! I guess a teacher in Texas doesn't pay taxes and let's face it, education in Texas is a total waste, so let's get rid of it. You fucking people can't learn anything! Texas has only recently sent more tax revenue to the federal government than it receives in spending, so let's stop fucking states like mine who send so much more.

Let's start our cuts in government spending in the states that receive the most! If you need links to prove government accounting, just ask! The first two states aren't hard to find, they're the states your last two Republican Vice President candidates came from, Alaska and Wyoming. Go to the Tax Foundation, which is a definite right-wing source and show us how much a citizen of those states receives in federal spending verses a tax dollar they send as revenue. You Motherfuckers want to play the Tax Game, let's play it!

Why should the people in Blue States send so much more in taxes than they receive in spending in their state? The only Red States that aren't sucking the government tit dry are Texas, Florida and Georgia and they're basically break even. Federal taxes are spent somewhere, so why should my tax dollars be spent in your miserable state? Fuck your ungrateful ass! Let's get it on, Bitch, and cut that Federal government spending in the states receiving more than their share! We'll put back in the Stone Age!

It's almost as funny as "corporate" taxes..

Like you're doing anything here but socializing costs?

It's the same argument..

The Republiatards haven't done a very good job of refuting this nonsense..

We need a second party. One with a little common sense that doesn't play into these schemes.

I guess a teacher in Texas doesn't pay taxes..

As a practical matter, they don't..
Let's start our cuts in government spending in the states that receive the most! I'm all for it.. Let's go!

Go to the Tax Foundation, which is a definite right-wing source and show us how much a citizen of those states receives in federal spending verses a tax dollar they send as revenue. You Motherfuckers want to play the Tax Game, let's play it! Suits me.. Let's be sure to define what's what, though..

Like, entitlements VS other federal spending.. Let's make sure we're comparing the same things.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Mitt 's support for Israel will likely earn the presumptive Republican presidential nominee a warm welcome from Israeli leaders when he visits on Sunday — and a frosty reception from Palestinians, who fear he would do little to advance their stalled statehood dreams.

Absolutely. Why is this concept so hard for people to understand?
