Think about that for a minute.. The large businesses and multi-national corporations the GOP lauds and holds up as examples of success and risk taking and entrepreneurship actually function just like the liberals the GOP claims to despise..
A truly poor guy wants a handout? Hey, fuck that guy! Socialism!!!! Right? I mean, we generally agree that this man should get a job if he is able, and pay his own way.. That it's proper and good for him to do this.. That he has a responsibility to get a job and work if he is able.. Correct? That this is necessary from an economic standpoint (Because, after all, someone has to work and pull the cart.. Sitting in it isn't fair if you're capable of pulling and helping) Also, we agree that it's good for American society.. Lest we lapse into an entitlement mentality, and lose the motivation to work and excel.. So we all agree here? Good! Now consider the Mega Corp.. Unlike this poor guy, they will use their own profits to secure more profits. They'll cut deals. They'll work to shift the regulatory environment in their favor. They'll pollute, they'll collude.. Basically, they'll do anything for a buck today. Especially a government buck! Because they have a printing press! So the bucks never stop.. In the absence of gov bucks and contracts, they'll just get government to pass a law saying we have to hand them OUR BUCKS.. (Which a Republican Justice just upheld!!) They've tried very hard to sell us all into carbon, and other forms, of slavery... and they've done all of this happily. I mean, let's just be honest.. If the Federal fucking Government wanted to head chip us all tomorrow, they'd bid on the contract with ZERO concern for the good of society, the rule of law or anything else.. So, why is it that companies like GE are never targeted by the republicans when they arrive in power? Because, unlike the poor guy above, they've got money to donate to campaigns. So, let's drop this worship of big business. When it comes to begging for handouts, they act more like liberals (and are more effective at it) than poor liberals themselves. They aren't protectors of liberty.. All too often, they aren't testaments to the power of anything but corruption. Once they grow so large, they behave just like liberals.. And I hate that. There should be some retribution here.. |

http://youtu.be/_LBmUwi6mEo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THEY ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THE REGULATORY AND TAX STRUCTURE TO ADVANTAGE THEMSELVES... AS A MATTER OF SURVIVAL. PROLES HAVE NO INPUT.....EXCEPT THEIR VOTE. THE CONGRESS INJECTS POLTICS INTO BUSINESS... ON PURPOSE, I THINK... THEY PUT THEMSELVES IN THE WAY OF CORPORATIONS, AND DEMAND TRIBUTE AND OBEDIANCE TO PASS. WE THE PEOPLE OUGHT TO PUT A STOP TO THAT. |

Because the market is where there's supposed to be competition.. Supporting an individual business is cronyism. |

Money from Uncle Sam, spends better.
For example: If I work for 10 bucks an hour, 40 hours a week, I might bring home 350 or so.......I'll cherish that 350, and pay my rent, and keep food and fuel on hand. However, if for some reason Uncle Sam just GIVES me 350 a week........Fuck it......I'll have a big screen, a great cell phone package, an Xbox, and I'll see you at the club. |

They want to wrap us up into a treaty.. I don't care why they did it.. It's not honest money. It's getting rich by enslaving us all. |

If we all just followed our own narrow self interest, without any regard for the common good and the consequences of our actions.. America wouldn't be here in the form it is today..
It wouldn't look a bit like it does.. Why is this responsibility not incumbent on profit seeking corporations? We need profit and sustenance too.. And I agree that it's bad when individuals put their own narrow self interest ahead of the nation and their neighbors.. But it's just as bad when these corps do it.. |

I forget who said that our Constitution was only suitable for a moral people..
This is one of those moral issues that fits the statement perfectly.. An immoral people, either individuals who are immoral.. Or individuals organized into corporations that behave in an immoral way while profit seeking, are equally dangerous. |

OUR CURRENT CONGRESS WELCOMES THE ATTENTION
OF RATS AND WEASLES OF EVERY SORT... SO LONG AS THEY ARE USEFUL TO CONGRESS'S AIMS AND AMBITIONS. TIME WAS, SOME AMERICAN CORPORATIONS COLLUDED WITH CORRUPT LOCAL GOVERNMENT/DICTATORS TO ROB AND OPPRESS THE PEOPLE OF VARIOUS BENIGHTED NATIONS. NOWADAYS, SOME CORPORATIONS COLLUDE WITH OUR OWN ROTTEN, RENEGADE GOVERNMENT TO ROB AND OPPRESS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. IT GETS BACK TO THE SAME THING I KEEP REPEATING: WE URGENTLY NEED TO FIRE THIS ROTTEN, CORRUPT, RENEGADE CONGRESS. |

Like: When you got out and get a job... and you profit seek.
We call that good, right? Unless you start voting for free shit from your neighbor.. and then That's bad. Both are profit seeking, but in the latter case, you're putting your own narrow self interest ahead of everyone else.. You are looking to gain at their expense.. Which is immoral behavior. That's what they tried to do to us with the carbon thing.. |

WE HAVE A DUTY TO OURSELVES AND TO THE WORLD TO POLICE OUR CONGRESS AND ALL THE AGENTS THEREOF. IT IS A MORAL DUTY, AS MUCH AS A FIDUCIARY ONE... AND A MATTER OF LIFE AND LIBERTY FOR OURSELVES AND OTHERS FAR BEYOND OUR SHORES. |
