It doesn't work.. The reason you can't have an "All of the above" energy policy is that once the subsidies run out, green energy dies.. It can't attract private capital without big subsidies .. It can't do this because it can't compete. It's just not profitable.

So when you hear someone pumping this, you know that they will eventually have to try and make conventional energy more expensive... To make the green stuff affordable by way of comparison, so it can attract capital when you stop subsidizing it.

If they want green, Hydro is green.. The levelized costs line up and it works..

But just try getting it permitted.. It's the one truly useful form of green energy the dems hate.
