Let's face it.

The Republican Party is a shitshow, at this point.
Says the chief DLP obamabot.

That doesn't make him an Obamabot... geez, do you ever get tired of hearing yourself?

The republican party is corrupt to it's core. Same as the democrat party is. You're in denial if you don't believe that.

I've been a Independent since I have voted. I am going to change it to Republican since in the end it's who I've always voted for. It's a difficult move. Boxes me in.

I didn't say legal permanent residents or those waiting for their applications to be approved hate illegals. I merely put forth that they should be asked if they want fence jumpers to get special treatment.

In other words ask the people that obeyed the law if they want to see those who have violated the law rewarded or if they want them to go to the back of the line.

I don't think they care, really. I think this meme that legals resent illegals is a myth. I think they like having more Mexicans in this country, one way or the other. The more the merrier...

So, the only thing Rocat voted for was hispanic outreach. Everything else is peachy, Rocat?

See, these guys are completely happy with the current state of the Republican Party. They approve. And they love Mitt . He's their guy.

They're pretending that they wish a more conservative candidate would be nominated, to assuage the conservative base and the libertarians. But they're lying.

These are moderate republicans whose goals are much more in line with moderate democrats than with the hard right.

I voted for the "Tax Cuts For the Rich"

Mainly because I'm:

1) Sick to fucking death of hearing about tax cuts.. Dude, you can't grow government and spend on empire without having to raise taxes, on everyone, at some point. It doesn't work that way. You can't have a gigantic government and then refuse to fund it.. Foisting the cost off on future generations. If you WANT these cuts, then you should cut spending and live within your means..

2) Tired of the idea that if the GOP cuts taxes, they've delivered, and that's, that They haven't delivered.. There's a litany of things to cut. You guys haven't even gotten started yet! don't you sit back and say "Well, then.. That's it!" because there's a bunch of shit left to do! And you've been talking about it for decades..

AND, the middle class doesn't have it. They don't have the money. The poor don't have it.. Nobody has the money you're blowing in this economy but the rich.

So, guys like Rush Limbaugh should consider this when they go screaming for a gigantic military and global intervention.. AND TAX CUTS..

Because someone has to pay this back.. and who does he think that will be?

Right. I'm with you on that.

Let's not pretend that tax cuts stimulate the economy. They don't. They just hurt the economy a little less.

And, as I've said many times, a tax cut that results in deficits is actually a deferred tax INCREASE. Because future generations will have to be taxed to pay off the debt, at interest.

There's nothing conservative about making someone else pay your bills.

A liar always assumes everyone else is a fraud. What we see from Rocat, here, is a mental tic. It's projection.

I don't want to warp the laffer curve or anything, but someone is actually going to have to pay this at some point.. Unless the entire world inflates simultaneously, there's going to have to be a reckoning.. Art Laffer be damned.

Further, the Laffer Model doesn't say that lower taxes always increase revenue.. It says there's a limit on both ends..

It says that you collect as much revenue at 100% taxation as you collect at 0%.

Further still, if we followed the Constitution, FedGov would cost about 20% of what it does now and the whole issue would be moot.

The problem is that people tend to evaluate one party by comparing it to another.....Republitard vs. Niggercrat, conservative vs. libtard, Jew vs. Muslim, National Socialist vs. Communist, etc.
It's far too easy to limit ones self to bad options only this way.
All parties should be held accountable for their actions rather than using the other party as a yardstick.

Taxation, at the federal level, anyway, is simple.

Taxation is justified for a certain amount of defense, and possibly interstate infrastructure, because it actually pays for itself by providing a more stable and efficient economy.

Anything else is detrimental, and can't be justified.

At the state and local level, similar principles apply, but if a certain locality wishes to tax and provide services, it's no skin off my back. I can move.

But I can't easily move out of the United States. And I don't want to. So these blanket taxes and programs at the federal level hold everybody hostage.

Yeah, they get some "great idea" (Read: Politically expedient) and socialize the cost.. Which is all taxes are anyway, socializing the cost of something... And you're trapped paying if it's the fed.

I've always felt that, Constitutionally speaking, State and local taxes should be HIGHER than Federal Income taxes.. Because they're the ones who are supposed to be providing all these little services people want.
