Default Scott Walker Dominates, Labor Falters in Wisconsin Recall Primary
http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...st+Articles%29
Tuesday was a bad night for the labor movement. In Wisconsin, with only token opposition, incumbent Gov. Scott Walker got 97 percent of the vote in the Republican primary, and almost as many votes were cast for him than in the entire Democratic primary combined. This is a bad sign for Democrats. The percentage of the vote Walker received seemed more appropriate for Mugabe than the former county executive of Milwaukee.
The 97 percent of the vote Walker received may seem insignificant. After all, he faced only one token candidate.

Then again, so did Barack Obama in West Virginia, and he got about only 60 percent of the vote running against a federal inmate.

The turnout Tuesday should serve as an alarm bell to Democrats, who have been frenetically organizing in Wisconsin for months. Defeating Walker in the June recall was supposed to be a precursor to reelecting Obama in November. Instead, the labor movement may lose its all-in bet in Wisconsin and prove itself, and Obama, even weaker than believed. Good point.

"The percentage of the vote Walker received seemed more appropriate for Mugabe than the former county executive of Milwaukee." That line made me wonder.....

Didn't Obama get 97% of the nigger vote?

I can't figure out why that comment wasn't made about obama?

Oh, fuck.. It's happening right now.

Liberals are pissing blood over Lugar's loss.

They have a glowing article about him over at Mother Jones.. One of the most wacko, crazed leftie sites on the internet.

All the bullying, whining and threats aren't working.
Next is a temper tantrum. And we have that with OWS.

Yeah, they've witnessed liberalism work like a ratchet for decades now.. Always tightening. Slowly. Never reversing..

What Walker and Mitch Daniels did terrifies them.

Lugar losing does too.. and for the same reason..

They suddenly realize that all this could come undone.

My best friend from childhood, a committed moderate-centrist who fancies himself an intellectual, was all pissed off at the TEA party for wanting to throw Lugar out. He actually believes that they want him gone because of his willingness to compromise and work across the aisle. Lugar's whiny letter today had the same narrative. They don't seem to understand that 36 years is enough, and that we no longer need somebody who is part of the problem of increasing debt. It's got nothing to do with working with the other side, except when it comes as a slap in the face of convervativism - the very same conservativism he claims when he's running in a primary election. I made the case to my friend that Lugar is a bought and paid for politician, as proven by his support for farm welfare and ethanol subsidies. He tried to make a claim that he's a man of principle and the kind of senator that brings dignity to the office. I then posted a link to the Lugar ad with the claim that Mourdock would cut social security for "all" seniors. My friend had nothing to say after that.

Oh no! We lost a "bipartisan" senator! Oh no! How will anything get done?

Stupid sons of bitches. They don't realize that we're better off when they don't get anything done.

I received all kinds of mail from places like the IRA. By siding with the UN over gun rights the old codger did himself in.
