http://www.usa.gov/directory/federal/index.shtml
A few days ago.....I posted this link: http://minorityhealth.hhs.gov/ A federal department of minority health........to show a little about the number of programs/departments in the government, that our tax dollars support. The top link is to a bigger list. I'll go through some of them, so we can all read in awe....so we can be amazed at the depths our government reaches to, to create a department.....ANY department, as long as it's EXPANDING. Remember, that each of these departments will have many branch offices, many employees, and will be100% funded by tax dollars. http://www.usa.gov/directory/federal...undation.shtml Here's a great department! USADF provides direct support to community organizations and enterprises that benefit under served and marginalized communities in Africa. More than $229 million dollars in new economic activities has been generated by these active projects. Look......it's just money....we can always print more! Here's a wonderful program: The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service administers programs that facilitate the efficient, fair marketing of U.S. agricultural products, including food, fiber, and specialty crops. http://www.ams.usda.gov/AMSv1.0/ams....ome&acct=AMSPW The AMS Civil Rights Program The Civil Rights (CR) Program is responsible for ensuring Agency compliance with Federal statutes that prohibit discrimination in hiring, employment, and program delivery. The Civil Rights Program staff serve as principle advisors to the Administrator, and Agency senior staff on all civil rights issues. |

U.S. Commission of Fine Arts The Commission provides advice to the U. S. Mint on the design of coins and medals, and approves the site and design of national memorials, both in the United States and on foreign soil, in accordance with the Commemorative Works Act or the American Battle Monuments Act, whichever applies. How could we make it as a nation....without this commission???? (All employees of the commission are paid prevailing salaries, with FULL government benefits......vehicle provided, fuel paid for, etc etc.) |

And EVERYONE of these people, working (giggle@'working'), for these departments........will NEVER vote themselves out of a job......they'll never support a conservative who says 'Look, these retarded offices need to go, we can't afford them, don't need them, and really aren't allowed to have them'......
So when someone says 'zomg zomg, don't let (x) be elected........' It makes me ill. |
