It's because of people like him, and there are many, that I no longer believe our problems can be solved by voting. In our country, cretins are allowed to vote and hold public office.

Even if he starts paying attention now, it will take years for him to evolve politically..

Like a kid viewing a complex geo-political problem, he'll advance stupid theories and generally not get it till he becomes acquainted with the subject matter.. And there's a world full of it to learn.

Up until Bush II's 2nd term, I wasn't all that into politics and pretty much voted repug.
I started taking shit when I stood up for him over some issues,
and had my eyes opened to the fact that,
though he may have been an honorable and decent man,
he wasn't the sharpest tack in the box,
and by hook or by golly, he got pawned into some real questionable things.

When Obozo came along, I was All Ears!
Hope and Change,
an end to racism as we knew it,
a new day for the USA!

And then, the biography started to come out,
things didn't add up,
the media services turned a blatantly deaf ear to any type of investigatory proof,

and I became commonly known as a Conspiracy Theorist / Birther / Truther / Crack-Pot DeLuxe,

and found out EXACTLY how all of the folks that had tried to tell others about what they were seeing
were going through with their supposed peers, who SHOULD care about all of this shit!
