That said, a fetus is not a "baby" anymore than an acorn is an oak tree. Women do have the legal right to have an abortion early on in their pregnancies. Judging from what I saw over 10 years as a social worker, that's a good thing. There are already too many unwanted children in this world. We can't legislate responsibility.
