Not denying it, I just do not agree with classifying all republicans and conservatives as neocons. Neocon is a term created by a small group of people to justify military support of Israel. The term is much overused in todays discourse.

The term is 60 years old and It represents a sizable distinct group within the Republican party, and especially within conservative media. You "not liking" the term doesn't make it a wrong or incorrect term.

Moon bases and unlimited warfare cost him his bump, and it's too late in the game for him to come back and grab the top spot.

However, it does raise the question of why would offer him the position? Right now, Newt is helping to keep the race broken up, and he's tempering Santorum's efforts.. So, if you're Mitt Romeny, why would you want to mess that up?
