That's odd, someone sent me a Pm with an email with a company letter head stating that he no longer worked for his employer, he would be charged with trespassing if he stepped onto this companies property, and which asked past customers if he represented himself as an employee or principle of the company, to please not talk to him and call the owner right away. It was dated recently.

Sure, we were having some fun. But don't underestimate my point about extended unemployment benefits. I mean, would Cosmo [or any other nigger] rather sit on his fat ass all day and get paid for it....or would he rather finish concrete in the hot sun and get a heart attack?

There are a shortage of workers with that type of skill skill. I detest unions but the one good thing they used to do, and some still do, is run apprenticeship programs.

You're spot on, OKP, but it's sure too bad folks don't understand that they'd better be using their time to either better their chances of getting a job, or be out there actually getting a job DURING their benefit period. I predict that what will happen is that the checks will run out, and all of a sudden it will become IMPERATIVE that employment be found, but there won't be any money for fuel, clothing, etc. to even get out and LOOK,

and we'll have to institute an After-UnEmployment-Benefits-Run-Out entitlement program for the fluking dumbasses that didn't GeT that THAT was what the INITIAL benefit period was for.

What I am saying is that there has been a massive change from two years ago. People may have been working, but they were on shortened hours or taking paycuts, etc, and they were looking around. Skilled tradesmen were a dime a dozen. Now, you can't find one. They're all happily employed, from what I can tell.

In other words, the economy is heating up, at least as far as construction goes, in my area...

Housing starts have been trending upward at an astronomical pace for well over a year.

Inventory is at it's lowest in a decade, as well.

Expect 2012 to be a big year in housing.

I had a "brilliant" idea :

Lots of peeps are losing their homes to foreclosure, right?

Well, WTF do they DO for housing once they lose their homes?

THEY RENT, right?

SO ... Why aren't all the folks, about to lose their homes, trying to RENT THEM OUT to other folks who are about to lose their homes???

They'd have to "downsize," looking for a place that was a little LESS than what they had,

but it would stop the foreclosures AND protect peeps credit ratings.
