What I find interesting is that an endless supply of drugs enters our country every day, and yet not a single terrorist can get in and kill anyone. That makes no sense.

This leads me to suppose that either the government is keeping the terrorists out and letting the drug-runners in, or, there are no terrorists.

As for the War on Drugs, the only way you could consider that a failure is because we're not doing enough to wage it.
And there are those that would make the same assessment of the WOT.

The corner dope dealer won't be flying a plane into a crowded building, any time soon.

Terrorists are somewhat more liable to pop up on the radar. And the tools of their trade are not so inconspicuous.

Yeah, our country clearly doesn't have its priorities straight. The cartels in Mexico are poisoning and killing Americans, yet we're somehow more worried about dangerous people halfway around the world. It's retarded.

Sure, if you can draw any compelling parallels between voluntary drug use, and mass slaughter.

Well, we don't have to use the tactics we do now to stop them. It's misguided and an assault on our freedoms.

What would you suggest?

It's misguided and an assault on our freedoms. Quite unlike the actions of the terrorists themselves.

Millions of Mexicans walk right across the border. If they can do it, Arabs can do it. What's stopping them from coming in, and carrying explosives with them?
