Default Buffet's secretary's tax rate
After much contemplation of this subject (o.k. a couple seconds) I believe I have found a way to solve the problem of Warren Buffets secretary paying a higher percentage tax than Buffet. Lower her rate. In fact lower every persons tax rate to that paid on capital gains and the middle class and the rich will be paying the same percentage, in other words everyone will be paying their fair share.

Obama seems to think taxing the rich at a higher rate than everyone else is fair. No, it is not. Taxing everyone at the same rate is fair.

She doesn't pay more in taxes than he does. This argument over percentages is a fucking distraction.
She likely doesn't pay more than a few thousand dollars in federal income tax.

Exactly, Toney. Liberals are selective when discussing dollars. They scream about Exxon Mobil's profits which they always discuss in terms of total dollars earned, percentages be damned. Exxon's profit margin in terms of percentages isn't anywhere close to many other large companies. But when talking about taxes or Buffet's secretary, they will only talk in terms of percentage. Liberals are such hypocrites and snakes.

Warren Buffet is a dangerous man. He plays on the ignorance of Liberals.

It's funny how the talking heads on TV conveniently leave out the fact that this money has already been taxed to death. Of course the sheep are too stupid to realize that.

The money that Buffet and pay 15% on has already been taxed once when they earned it. capital gains taxation is double taxation.

taxing the interest on money you put in savings after earning it (and being taxed on it) is also double taxation.

If you want to do something with the tax code that would actually help, withhold SS taxes on all income including capital gains. Why should Buffet and only pay SS on the first 106K of earnings? Or, nothing at all if all their income is from capital gains?

I knew a government employee who held the position that he should not have to pay taxes on his income, since his income was derived from taxes and therefore already taxed.

Because they're not going to get anything out of it anywhere commensurate with what they put in. SS is not a welfare program. It was supposed to be insurance, for everybody. If we're ditching that and calling it welfare, take the fucking special tax away and pay for it out of the general fund, like all welfare programs.

I'll have no more of this bullshit talk about taxing the rich more and means-testing for SS. If you can't fix it the way it is, and keep the promises that you all seem to care so much about, abolish the fucking program immediately and try to start a replacement welfare program. Fuck you if you don't get anything back after paying in. That's what you get for being a sucker.

Did I say means test it? NO. But lets face reality. SS is a tax, there is no lock box where your money is being put away for your retirement. That ended when congress first stole it to cover their mismanagement of the budget.

So, now that its a tax to provide retirement income for retired people, lets collect it on all income. There is no logical reason why people like Buffet, Gates, and Oprah should only pay it on the first 110K of income, and if a person'e sole source of income is capital gains, then collect SS on that income.

Quit being a liberal, "eat the rich" asshole. Throwing more money in the hole is not the right way to go. It's what liberals do. Are you a fucking liberal? There is a perfect reason why nobody should be taxed on more than $110,000 - they're not going to get any extra benefit for the money they pay in. It's an insurance program, not a welfare program. If it's now a welfare program, shut it down.

I've honestly had enough of you old people complaining about how you got screwed for having to pay into the system. That's your problem, not mine. It's not my responsibility to pay for your losses.

The line has been drawn in the sand. If you support Medicare and SS, you are a liberal. Pick your side, immediately. You're either with me or your against me.
