Wonder why he didn't run for a second term as governor of Massachusetts? After the first term, the dude just walked away. Could it have had anything to do with his low ratings? And if so, why did he have those low ratings?
For the People, By the People, Of the People. has amassed over a quarter billion dollar fortune. Good for him, I'm sure he worked hard for every penny and earned it legally of course. I mean we know our politicians are honest and everything. Plus, we live in a country were they set-up baseball training camps in the Dominican Republic. And once trained, the third world jungle boys are brought up to this country (US) and paid 50-100 million dollars (or more) per year to play a game. We’ll even finance it all by spending $100-$500 or more at the turnstiles just to watch them as they throw, hit and catch a ball. Also, made in the Dominican Republic. So we don't mind providing wealth to others. We're a nation that loves to work our asses off, and a nation of people who are more than willing to just hand over those assets to others. The Federal Reserve scheme is the perfect example. But I’ve digressed. --- For the People, By the People, Of the People - is that the embodiment and persona of a Mitt or, is this yet another case of us just ‘handing’ over our assets, in this case, our ‘assets’ - our votes --- to the benefit of others? Will he screw us over and end up having a low rating as he did in Massachusetts or, do we have in him, ‘the real deal‘ this time? Also, incorporated within this, a point of; the office of the president of the United States pays $400K a year. Why would a man, worth at, about, under or over, a quarter of a billion dollars, want to be tied down to an office that only pays $400K a year? Wouldn't that be like the head of a major corporation stepping down to accept the newest janitorial job opening? And speaking of corporations... the media, is comprised of corporations. Corporations that do not have the power of vote yet, that are more powerful than the individuals who can vote. But let‘s say they do have the power of vote, or, maybe are more powerful than any who do, in that, they had the power to sway YOUR vote... who do you think they’d vote for, or use their power to guide others to vote for? And let’s say, for sake of argument, that these media corporations were extra tricky. And for appearance of impartiality.... they'd report negatively on say, 20% of the time, with indifference another 20% - while reporting on him positively only 60%. Would that have any affect on your opinion of quarter of a billion dollar candidate at all? Just questions, if anyone answers, please remain on topic if possible. And also, why didn't he run for a second term as governor of Massachusetts and, would he do the same as president of the United States? |
