First of all, we all know that states have the right to establish a gov't health system. It's perfectly lawful.

So let's not waste our time arguing about that. We are in agreement.

That being said, I am of the opinion that when you allow the free market to work naturally, you will get both better care and more affordable care.

So I inherently have a philosophical problem with any type of gov't healthcare schemes.

And I therefore have a disagreement with Mitt on this. I have to question his qualifications, if he believes that a state-run healthcare system is capable of trumping the free market.

This is a huge issue for me.

No one is going to defend it because none of us think that its a good thing.

did not invent it. the majority of the citizens of Mass and its legislature passed it. I guess he could have vetoed it, but how is that going along with the will of the people he represented? He was governor of a liberal democrat state, they voted for state run medical care. To put it all on him is ignoring the facts.

and for the record-----repealing obamacare is a big deal with me---------and romney has pledged to do just that

I don't get government healthcare. I don't even get the $700 a month taxpayer subsidy for my health insurance plan like government employees, members of Congress and their staff all get.
