The founding fathers believed in a strong militia and defending ourselves, not building a silo and hoping for the best. That's my opinion, and there is nothing disingenuous about it.
So you don't believe we can defend ourselves at 2006 defense spending levels?

It was sleazy.
No, it was a fact. You just don't like it.

I'll ask again for someone to prove to me that Ayers and Soros want strong militaries and engagement with other countries. Can you do it?

I have no clue. None of us on here do. We aren't military experts.

That isn't his only stance on the military, borders and foreign relations.

Let's be clear.

In 2006, we spent more money on defense than in any year ever before that.

Paul simply wants to cut it back to the 2006 levels.

There is nothing CRAZY about that...

Oh brother.

I love it how when someone has an opposing opinion, it's "towing the line".

Enjoy towing the Paul line. You are doing it quite well.

I didn't realize you were a military expert. I don't claim to be. I couldn't answer your question. Because Ron Paul says so, that makes it so?

Spending on the military isn't the only issue, and if you don't know that, I can't help you.

Vote for your establishment candidate. The GOP will love you for it.

I have no idea what Soros or Ayers want. And I don't care what they want. And neither does Ron Paul.

There is no reason to use their names in the same sentence with Dr. Paul. It's ridiculous. Bush-league boob-baiting.

Ron Paul's foreign policy is that which is outlined in the Constitution and developed by the founding fathers like Jefferson and Washington.

I'm always surprised at posts like this.

I'm voting for the person I want. The one who has expertise where I want it to be. I know this may surprise you, but at 48 years old and having voted for the last 30 years, I have the capacity to make up my own mind.

You're upset because I mentioned Ayers and followed up on what another poster posted about Soros? You remind me of the Liberals who whined when anyone said one bad word about Obama.

Now I know why I'm not supporting Paul. This, and people like those slobs in NH who went after Huntsman's adopted children.

Why, because I told the truth? You've yet to show me where my statement was wrong, Jeshu. And I have a right to hold that opinion that I am in total disagreement with Paul's foreign policy.

Did you write to the Paul supporters in NH who put out that nasty ad about Huntsman's kids telling them how disappointed you are in them?

That was disgusting. Paul denounced it.

Let me be clear. I have no idea what Soros and Ayers think about foreign policy. But if they follow the foreign policy outlined by the Constitution and the Founders, then they are 100% correct, and everybody should be aligned with them. Ron Paul, myself, you, everybody.

I know Paul denounced it. I already said that. I asked if you were disappointed in them, and told them so?

The Constitution promoted a strong militia. I don't see how Paul is in sync with that. And he wants to focus on securing our borders, which I certainly agree with, but I don't agree that it was the founding fathers' focus. If they were hell bent on securing our borders and not letting anyone in, there wouldn't be a USA today. That's one area where I disagree with him. I also don't agree that the Patriot Act is "spying" unnecessarily. I don't want radicals and terrorists running loose here unchecked. I also travel by plane a lot and I've never been "groped", which is what he calls it. I remember 9/11 vividly. I'm all for those measures.

I don't agree with much of his policies, and nothing says I have to. And nothing says you shouldn't agree with him. That's why we have elections.

He's simply not the man I want to see in that office. Nothing will change that. Just like I don't expect to change anyone's mind about , nor will I lose it on people who don't share my views on .

Now you're just being silly & petulant. We're not talking about wine & cologne here. You are now comparing the military & well being of this country to wine & cologne. It's obviously a waste of my time to continue with this dialogue. I have to go out anyway.

I'll say it again. His foreign policy is Constitutional and in line with that of the founding fathers. A militia is a domestic defense force. Not a policeman of the world.

You don't have to like Paul. But when you get into this "Soros" stuff, you sound like Rush Limbaugh or some other talking head retard. You're better than that.
