Default Doctors going broke
Pentz said recent steep 35% to 40% cuts in Medicare reimbursements for key cardiovascular services, such as stress tests and echocardiograms, have taken a substantial toll on revenue. "Our total revenue was down about 9% last year compared to 2010," he said.

A complex system, which was built around a bankrupt government program, is falling apart..

I'm shocked.

I'm shocked. Clearly, nationalizing it is the key.

That way, those same inept, retarded fuckwads that broke the first system......can fix it!

Someone is going to suggest that.. Like a national system would be any more solvent than the mess we have now.

Taking the money out of this is going to be painful, but that's the way it will have to be.. Because we're broke, and they blew the money.. Now there's nothing

Well, this is bullshit. Doctors don't have to take Medicare. If they choose to accept Medicare patients and Medicare payments, then I don't want to hear their bitching.

so, you think that we should just allow 35% of the population to have no medical care? they should just die because they have medicare? if we all took your attitude, none of us would accept medicare- then what? the fact that the government broke into the medicare "lock box" and used that untouchable money for other purposes should create a scenario where the medicare patients who have paid into this system for as much as 50 years should be screwed? fuck that. why should a doctor get less money for taking care of a sick elderly patient with multiple medical problems than an exterminator with less than a high school education gets to spray for bugs?

Not one person in the history of the world has died of Medicare. It is not a cause of death.

"Hey, did you hear about Paul, poor bastard came down with a bad case of the Medicare..."

It's perfectly acceptable for a high school dropout to make more than a doctor does.. I know a bunch of them who do, in fact.. (They're millionaires)

But that's a function of the market.. Rather than a conscious decision we made to mess with their pay. Medicare short circuits these forces, as you can see from the article.

Quit lining up at the government trough. If you can't provide a service people want and can afford, then you should go out of business. Medicine is a business, just like everything else. I'm tired of this subsidy for doctors. It's bullshit.

It doesn't make anything cheaper.. It does the opposite.

It puts a floor under high prices, thus perpetuating even higher subsidies and so on and on..

This is a problem, as now people who don't get the subsidy can't afford care.

And if we're going to have a subsidy, it's Constitutional at the state level.

It may still get into trouble and become insolvent, but at least the damage is isolated to that state and the leadership there.. It doesn't drag the entire country into the red.

That is why people can't afford insurance and health care.. These costs have been de-linked from the market forces that set rates of pay for other occupations, like pest control guys and crack dealers.

We should re-enslave the niggers and force them to produce products for export.. And use that money for health care for white people.

If we insist on government programs, I like that one the best.
