THAT WILL NOT BE LEFT UP TO RON PAUL.... EVEN IF Everyone knows this, but they're shitting themselves ANYWAY because Paul is advancing some very powerful concepts, and they frighten some people. 1) Adhering to the law of the land, our Constitution.. Even when we don't like it, or think it's particularly expedient politically. 2) Minding our own business internationally.. And using the US military as a vehicle to protect the Us and our interests. For some, as yet unknown, reason.. even discussing these things at the nationa level is TERRIFYING to people who claim to be "Conservatives" |

RON PAUL HAS LONG BEEN A HOT POTATO
TO MOST OF WASHINGTON AND VIRTUALLY ALL OF THE MEDIA.... GOOD GOSH.... IF THESE PROLES WERE TO GET TO THINKING ABOUT GOVERNMENT.... ESPECIALLY THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT... AS A LIMITED INSTITUTION WITH ONLY CERTAIN DEFINED POWERS... AND ACCOUNTABLE TO THEM .... WELL, WE JUST CAN'T GO THERE!!!! |

And calling everybody a neo-con, war mongers and against the constitution if the don't support Ron Paul for president is even more idiotic. This is why Paul will never sit in the oval office, because of his supporters ... too many of the lunatic fringe. They hate the constitution and they love armed interventionism. There's evidence of it all over this forum.. Especially over the last two days. Their candidates support this. Now, why don't you try posting something that's not at odds with the facts? |

GOOD GOSH.... IF THESE PROLES GET THINKING
ABOUT GOVERNMENT AS A LIMITED INSTITUTION... ACCOUNTABLE TO THEM.... WELL, WE JUST CAN'T GO THERE!!!! I think that's exactly the problem.. Small, limited government that minds its own business is boring. There's no money in it either... so, naturally.. Can't have that. |

This entire argument seems very simple to me.. It boils down to:
1) Do we support the Constitution and limited government, or don't we? 2) Do we believe in just war and good faith, or don't we? Because what I see advocated is mutually exclusive.. You can't have both. You can't have the Constitution and limited government, and the security state.. Or a global empire. You have to choose... Because the needs and costs of one will take precedence over the other. |

Oh that is bullshit and you know it. EVERYBODY who doesn't support Ron Paul for president doesn't hate the Constitution and loves armed intervention with wild abandonment ... Yee HAW shoot 'em and kill 'em all! There is also evidence of the lunatic fringe Paulians right here on this forum. There are extremest on both sides.

Witness the debate on military detention of American citizens accused (but not convicted) of "terrorism" or "Belligerent acts" Toney was arguing against the Constitution itself yesterday. Go blow smoke up someone else's ass, slap happy.. I'm busy. |

The thing is, you were wrong in the argument also. There is nothing about torture in the Constitution. And even though there is a law against torture, water bordering has never legally been defined as torture. Right or wrong, it hasn't.
Yeah, I see how busy you are. Making little doodads with hearts floating out of them to show your man love to the world for Paul. At least be somewhat of a conservative and keep your boner in the closet, and drop the heartsy fartsy thingie. |
