NYT Link:
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/07/wo...says.html?_r=1 It's for show.. and intended to up the ante on the Obama administration for an intervention. Belligerence from a nuclear Israel and Team USA, Global Cop, does nothing to help deter others from seeking the technology for themselves. In fact, it makes a pretty good argument for it.. Especially if you happen to be unlucky enough to have resources or be strategically located. |

That'd be national suicide.. They won't do that. I thought the general trend twenty years ago was to reduce world wide atomic weaponry. Now it's a free for all. I grew up at a time when air raid drills in school were still common. Two countries with mildly sane leaders were in control of the buttons. Now there seems to be some feeling that everyone deserves one, just like a trophy for every team in Pee Wee baseball or something. There is zero leadership on this shit. And Paul's position is suicidal. |
