Is he more conservative?

Or more constitutionalist?

No, not really, in the strictest sense. Ron Paul is the only truly conservative candidate in the mix.

I would say Newt is akin to a Reagan or a Kennedy.

Newt is a brilliant man who is politically savvy. He knows how to be whatever he needs to be at the moment. That's what scares me about him.

Truly conservative in what way? Being a pork king?

Newt would be a benevolent dictator. It is in his nature. He'll tell you how it's going to be, and that's the way it's going to be. There could be positives in that, there would definitely be negatives. He might put us on the right track, he might not. Are we willing to submit to Newt? He will accept no less.

I think you nailed it. I'm willing to submit to Caesar, if I can't get the Constitutionalist. That's fucked up, but it may be our last best chance...

I would have to agree with this assessment. Newt is a bit of a megalomaniac. He's better than the current turd though.

Yeah, it's going to be good or bad with Newt.. He's got the potential to dwarf Reagan in terms of accomplishment, or he may have to be dragged from office by his own military.

One thing is certain though: Nobody is going to push him around. Not Wall Street.. Not foreign entities. Nobody.

He's going to run the place and he's going to do it his way.. Anybody who thinks they're going to bend this guy around their will is very much mistaken, imo.
