I am writing this post to inform you of the terrible news we had at our youth camp that we hold annually. Two weeks ago the camp site came under the attack of arsonists who burnt down our shed and all our camping equipment. All that survived the attack were a few icons and the large cross that we would put up in the chapel.

In all it is estimated that to run camp in 2012 we need to raise funds in access of £43,000.

So I thought, as the treasurer of the committe and I could ask you all for your prayers that we hit out target and reinstate the camp to its appropriate position.

There will be a national appeal from our Archdiocese as His Emminence Archbishop Gregorious himself has stated we MUST get the camp back to its original state.
