The only black guy Republicans were ever "proud" of supporting was Colin Powell. Everybody else is just a conservative. Alan Keyes, Alan West, Clarence Thomas, JC Watts, and now Herman Cain, they are all just articulate conservatives who know how to make a point. It's too bad Keyes went off the deep-end when running against Obama in Illinois. He is a sharp guy.
