Default For unbelievers who ask for evidence of Jesus Christ outside the Bible .
Here is some from Josephus .

Josephus, a Jewish historian of the first century A.D., regarded the life of Jesus Christ as an established fact. In Antiquities of the jews, Josephus wrote:
“there was about this time [Josephus here refers to matters concerning Pontius Pilate, Roman procurator of Judea], Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, for he was a doer of wonderful works, * a teacher of
such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the jewish people, and many of the Gentiles. He was Christ; and when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principle men among us, had condemned him to the cross...he appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him; and the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day.”

I don't know of many people who deny either the man or the composite of men existed.

I believe it was also Josephus who said something to the effect of "he was blessed with gift of gladness above other men"

In the vernacular of the time, "gladness" meant frivolity and spontaneity....as in "Wine gladdens the hearts of men"

A stark contrast from how the modern day Xtians portray hom

We come from the land of the ice and snow,
From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow.
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!

Some people claim that Antiquities was edited.

The word of a Jew? What proof is that?

If he calls him Christ, he certainly isn't a Jew. If indeed the author considered him Christ, then he was a Christian.

'Christ' is not a jewish word. But I doubt Josephus wrote in English, so the paragraph has obviously been translated.

He wrote in Greek. The word Christ comes from the Greek word Christos.

The thing to remember is....anything past 326 AD is revisionist, and was agreed upon after the fact at the council of Nacaea.

Christianity is actually the church of Constantine
