Anyone who votes for a rep or dem deserves more of the same. I just heard a pretty scary stat.....If the government were to stop spending completely and began paying down the debt at a cost of 100 million per day. It would take roughly 400 years to pay down the debt......it's never going to happen! |

It would seem that there is plenty of evidence to back up your claim......the country may be beyond repair. |

The US could always default on its debt and declare war on anybody who won't forgive their loans to the US. |

And in very short order, our economy would collapse, our dollar would become worthless, and the printed "money" that the treasury department would be handing out wouldn't be worth enough to pay our soldiers to maintain order or to attack anybody else. We're stuck paying off foreign debts, like it or not. The alternative is bad. |

Karl Rove is behind this. His nose is still out of joint from the drubbing Perry gave Kay Bailey Hutchison in the governor primary. He's scared quite shitless that he won't have a place in the Whitehouse if Perry wins. Or is it some head fake? Because I've also seen Perry claiming W encouraged him to run. |

Rove, and the establishment repub's don't like Perry at all. I think they realize that he would prolly lose big to the President
Rove and much of the rest of the GOP Texas establishment was and is embarrassed by Perry: his rootin'-tootin' style; his naked plays for the votes of the prayerful; his sometimes almost violent accusatory language and his preference for sound bites so pronounced he makes George W. Bush seem like Pericles. |

Well, if Perry's the anti-establishment candidate.. That's about the best endorsement anyone could ask for - their scorn. It's just too soon to tell. I'm liking perry as the best choice so far....(due to limited choices). Time will tell......More info will come out. I know the Dims are freaking out about him.....and from what I've heard for the last two days on paltalk.....the libs can live with romney.....they HATE perry. There's a reason for that. |

Talk about missing the point. They don't like him because he embarrassed them in the 2010 primaries. It's all about settling a score. Nobody doubts that he or , whomever comes out on top, will handily beat the Amateur-In-Chief currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. |
