Not talking about what is, talking about what should be This is what you said........^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ It should be optional period. As I said in another thread, most young ladies will decide to receive this on their own. There is no need to mandate it at all. I think the biggest issue with all inoculations is that there is way to much disinformation put out by both sides, this confuses parents. |

I know what i aid,,,and yes, no one can FORCE a parent to do it...but we CAN open a CPS file on the parents who opt out...and we should..IMO It's no longer voluntary, but mandatory Saara. |

So then, it would cease to be voluntary..simply because parents would not want CPS in their lives. ( who would?) they would agree to have their daughters receive it. Just like States don't HAVE to follow federal regulations, but if they dont, they lose higway and medicaid funds...sometimes you have to create a catch 22 to get the stupid to do the right thing...and it is not exclusivly "liberal" by any means...Republicans in fact, invented the practice with the selective service laws |

It should be optional.. and any parent who opts out should be charged with neglect Not at all. Only kids having sex would need it. Not all of them are (at least I hope). So a blanket 'shot' doesn't fly here. NEWSFLASH...Girls do not need a HPV vaccination to act on being human and wanting to have sex, and sometimes doing it. Sex came along a LONG time before the HPV vaccine and condoms. They don't need that vaccination at all....unless they ARE having sex. |

“Since licensure, CDC and FDA have been closely monitoring the safety of HPV vaccines. “As of June 22, 2011, approximately 35 million doses of Gardasil® have been distributed in the U.S. and the safety monitoring system (VAERS) received a total of 18,727 reports of adverse events following Gardasil® vaccination. As with all VAERS reports, serious events may or may not have been caused by the vaccine.”
“Of the total number of VAERS reports following Gardasil®, 92% were considered to be non-serious, and 8% were considered serious. Out of 35,000,000 doses distributed, there were 1,498 occasions of serious complications; that equates to a .0000428 chance that a dose will cause a serious adverse reaction.” And again......I think Perry was trying to help people avoid a costly medical bill more than anything else. |

Perry said he’d invested government resources in cancer cures, adding, “I hate cancer. And this HPV, we were seeing young ladies die at the early age. What we should have done was a program that frankly should have allowed them to opt in, or some type of program like that, but here’s what I learned — when you get too far out in front of the parade they will let you know. And that’s exactly what our legislature did.” And the fucker at least OWNS his issues.
THAT scores him a few points. |

I have, and since I actually READ it before making a judgment, I know it has about the same level of risks as aspirin |

Antibiotics are generally unnecessary. A healthy body creates natural antibodies. Such as: 1. Bacterial pneumonia 2. Staph infections 3. Strep infections And many more. I had a very nasty staph infection on my foot, if not for the IV abx I would be dead. |

I'll agree that they are way over prescribed, however they are very necessary to get rid of some very nasty bacterial infections. |

It soon became public knowledge that Mike Toomy, Perry's former chief of staff, had gone to work for Merck as a lobbyist... Perry better enjoy his bounce/peak polling while he can. Soon the national scrutiny, vetting, etc. will bring up the same damming facts I have here. Perry will most like burn, then fizzle, like Rudy in '08. Another RINO Perry supported. |

It was optional. A girl has never had sex...no need for a vaccination ? 10:25 Girl has sex...now what ? You want to bet you daughter's life on her ability to stay chaste ? |
