Why do they think that government spending creates economic growth?

They're screaming about spending cuts "taking money out of the economy"

But government doesn't HAVE any money, people do.. So, in order to spend money, the government has to print it (And thereby debase it) or take it from someone.

They seem to believe that just taking money from people on top and handing it to people on the bottom = a self sustaining loop.. But there's no proof that this works.

We've spent a trillion bucks, nothing happened, and all they have to say is we shoudl have spent more.
