The Germans, Swedes, Russians, Italians, Greeks etc....all learned our language after immigrating here to the US.

My ex mother in law came from Greece when she was 19. She learned the language (on her own ) raised two kids and had her house paid off years ago. All this with NO help from the gov!!!!!
