Default Rangel's last days are ones of total embarrassment.
If the stupid crook had paid a few 100 G's in taxes he wouldn't be paying a few million to defend himself. Shoulda thought of that earlier, dumbass! I'm enjoying this waaaaayyyy too much. HA!

Rangel walks out of ethics trial

By the CNN Wire Staff

November 15, 2010 4:10 p.m. EST

Washington (CNN) -- Embattled Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-New York, walked out of his House ethics subcommittee trial Monday, complaining that he has not had sufficient time to hire a new legal team to respond to corruption allegations.

The subcommittee rejected Rangel's request to delay the hearing until a new defense team is assembled.

Rangel faces 13 allegations, include failing to pay taxes on a home in the Dominican Republic, misuse of a rent-controlled apartment for political purposes and improper use of government mail service and letterhead.

"Fifty years of public service is on the line. And I truly believe that I am not being treated fairly," he declared. "I deserve a lawyer."

Rangel told the subcommittee members he has already spent $2 million defending himself from the charges, and had been advised the trial could cost him another $1 million.

These guys think they are above the law. Most of the time they are right.

Rangel is quickly becoming a liability for the dems. They won't have a choice but to cut him loose.

The Blaze had a story [and the actual vid] of this fiasco..

what a fucking idiot...

Yeah, he only has known he has this trial for the last year, yet he acts like its somehow "the spur of the moment."

Hes like the delusional grampa that everyone hopes for at thanksgiving.

Maybe he should have hired Obongo or any of those libtard vampires in Congress??
