Hes NOT an independent...

Once again you fall for the same old bullshit...

You can change your "title" all you want but YOU CANNOT change your morals and ethics.

Politicians have a habit of jumping from party to party, Crist has done this, which means he only cares about KEEPING HIS ELITE STATUS and he'll sell anyone and everyone out for HIMSELF... He doesn't represent YOU he represents himself...

There are FEW politicians that actually care about their constituents....

I heard what Rush Limbaugh said: "If there is a D next to it, never vote for it, if there is an R next to it always vote for it."

That's what Conservatives believe, even though it was one of their own that started the economic downturn in the first place.

Wrong.....

Conservatives are hardly partisan to REAL democrats, they just know who the tyrants are..

Today the strong majority of democrats are really socialists...

I'm not arguing for Democrats, I'm arguing against the majority of Conservatives. You happen to be the good kind of Conservative Jessie, but most people who are conservatives are like Rush Limbaugh, at heart they believe we should be ruled by Christianity. You surely understand that a good many Conservatives define themselves by Rush Limbaugh's methodology. I find it interesting how no Conservative can ever say anything bad about him, without apologizing the next day!

I realize that I am generalizing, but when using a word like "Conservative" you are referring to a lot of people.

If all Conservatives were like you Jessie, believing in Freedom of Religion, and Personal Freedoms, while being Fiscally and administratively conservative, well that might be exactly what we need to save this country.

The Problem is that the Conservatives in Washington, and running for it, are like Bush, Socially Conservative, not Fiscally.

Democrats are terrible politicians, and they admit it. Republicans are just as bad, and try to cover it up, and act as if they care about bigger things. Both Parties are just as bad for our system. The only Conservative Republican leader we had (other than Reagen) was a sorry excuse for a leader.

George W Bush is the brand of Conservative you have in Washington, the one who is against Abortions, Stem Cell Research, but will spend ourselves into a huge deficit.

Dude, my moms side of the family are Evangelical Opus Dai Christians, you're not getting any more Christian-Conservative than that [with the exception fringe nuts] and they don't want the US to be run as a theocracy.... They want none of that...

All that "conservatives want a theocracy" nonsense is nothing more than bullshit from the left and they use it to scare people to the left....... Its all LIES...

Liberals are pathological liars that will use any and all means to reel in people.... Nothing they say is true Mark..

Yes there are fringe Christian nuts that want a theocracy but those fools are a severe minority... Maybe 2% of Christians would support a theocracy..

The conservative voting base LOVES the constitution and they REALIZE a theocracy is out of the question and its a violation of the Bill of Rights..

Yes, over the past 15 -years republicans and conservatives have been out of line and you can bet the real conservative base is fedup with their bullshit.. But today the right has no CHOICE but to listen to their voting base because it they dont do what we want done, they may as well commit suicide.

Where the hell do you live? Utah? the bible belt? lol...

I can buy alcohol on Sunday...

Those are state laws Mark and the states have the RIGHT to govern under the Tenth Amendment.. If a State is majority Christian then those are the laws you will get - but they have the right to self govern.

They don't have a right to endorse any religion, and the reasoning behind having that law is because Christians want it.

I live in Florida.

Yeah Mark, its called democracy...

Furthermore I DOUBT its a state law and its most likely a town/village law.... Not to mention not buying alcohol on Sundays is a far cry from a theocracy Mark so dont attempt that's even close... Also, back in the day no alcohol sales on Sunday was common EVERYWHERE, so dont attempt to imply this is something new here because its not.

Its funny how we are NOT nor have we ever been a theocracy despite the fact that this nation was 100x more conservative 150-years ago than we are presently but now you actually believe there is a "theocracy conspiracy?" LOL..

Ah, but it does make us part theocracy, because a religious organization is being allowed to make legislation.

Let me ask you, if Christians got together and voted that everyone would be required to be Christian, would that be wrong to you?

Christians also got Alcohol banned, and are still having other drugs banned. They shove their religion down our throats at ever twist and turn.

No, legislators manifest legislation, the county board creates ballot initiatives and those ideas are then put on voting ballots and the community passes those said ideas - the government is not a Church Mark.

If you want to buy booze on Sunday, get a petition, get the required amount of signatures and take it to your county/village board meeting and they will take up your gripe..

I personally don't care, but I don't like being ruled by the law of the Church. I personally know, my mother's side of the family goes to this Church that constantly tells them how to vote, and what to think about political figures.

You underestimate how much control the Church has over our Government.

Then vote against their bullshit...... This is nothing more than democracy in action. Under a theocracy you have no say in anything...

If you dont like it then move to a town where their values are more aligned with yours...

In what universe should the majority change what they want for the minority???? You're being selfish Mark... This is a free country in which you're free to live around your ilk...
