Yeah, Limbaugh said that on his show. When I hear that the idea I get from it is that Liberals are people who grew up with a strong group mentality. They were probably the more social.

One thing that this report fails to mention is that the gene could vary because of the strong group mentality, not causing it. There are tons of things that turn genes on and off in our bodies, everything from eating to our level of stress.

It is not inconceivable that someone who starts life with a strong group Mentality, will continue into life with it, so that is why they are Liberal. Those of us who are more independent, The one who had 2 or 3 friends during High school, and chose to do most things on his/her own.

Obviously a group mentality does mean many things. It means that one feels much stronger, more confident as part of a group. Conservatives have their own version of the group mentality, it's called Church! Not everyone who goes to church is conservative, but anyone who lives for the church is.

The truth is in our society we need both people concerned for the well being of the group, and the individual. It's that offset that makes our society as organized as it is, while still maintaining personal liberties to a certain extent.
