Default Stewart makes Obama look bad, even to Liberals! Obama nailed on Obamacare.
At first it seemed like everything was going well in what was suppose to be a light hearted interview with the sitting president Barack Obama. It took a serious turn as soon as Stewart asked "You're two years into your administration, are we the people we've been waiting for? Or does it turn out those people are still out there, and we don't have their number?" Stewart started out trying to not interrupt the President as he rambled on with answers, but by the end of the interview he was interrupting him left and right.

Stewart was in Washington DC, so the audience there was somewhat friendly to Obama, cheering at a few of his jeers, but all around Obama did not look good. He came across as very apologetic, saying several times that he believes he could have done more to fix the economic crisis.

Stewart openly mocked the democratic party: "You ran on very high redirect (Hope and Change) to, what the democrats are now running on which is, Please baby give us one more chance"

Obama got cheers when he talked about the Children's health bill, but not Obama care. Midway through the interview, Stewart expressed his displeasure with the Health care bill saying: "Is the difficulty that you have here, the distance between what you ran on and what you delivered, is that, you ran with such, if I may, audacity, so much of what you said is great leaders lead at a time of oppurtunity,.. I'm not sure at times what you want out of a health care bill." Obama responded by grouping Stewart with other pundants, saying "I don't mean to group you in with other pundants, but.." and that News pundants are wrong about the Health care bill.

after talking about legislative reform, Stewart jumped back on to health care asking: "There's really nothing in this bill that doesn't allow these insurance companies to raise rates" Obama said "That's not true, we have empowered state insurance commisioners to review the rate hikes that are put out in their state..." Stewart interrupted " Doesn't that only trip though, on egregious cases." Obama responded "If what you are implying Jon is that we didn't change the Health care system overnight, you're right..."

Stewart called him out, about hiring democrat Larry Summers saying "I remember very clearly we can't expect different results from the same people, and I remember when you hired Larry Summers, I remember thinking that seems like the exact same person.. the expectation was audacity, really going in there and rooting out corruption..." Obama responded by defending the democrats defense of the economy. Obama went on to pretty much say, this is a lot harder than he thought.

President Barack Obama, on left, discusses with a group in the White House, including Larry Summers on far right (back to camera)

While he certainly is no Bill O Reilly, the Comedian, Jon Stewart was much tougher on Obama than anyone on CBS or NBC news has ever been. Jon made it his job to express some of the displeasure people are feeling. He continually attempted to implicate that the campaign Obama was running on served to mislead the people, and therefore he deserves the scrutiny he is getting.

Jon Stewart is just hitting his stride. It's amazing that it has taken this long for people to embrace his sarcastic, sardonic and incisive sense of humor. Of particular note was a regular "gig" on "The Larry Sanders Show" (1992). Playing himself, Stewart was the oft-timed "Guest Host" of "The Larry Sanders Show". He became as much a part of the show's fabric as some of the regular performers. He has emerged as a bonafide television personality with his ascension to host of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" (1996)/Comedy Central since taking over for Craig Kilborn in 1999.

Was chosen by People Magazine as one of 1999's 50 Most Beautiful People In The World.

Attended the College of William and Mary, where he was on the soccer team.

Decided to quit smoking on Dec. 28, 2000, after being encouraged by the CGL Foundation.

The College of William and Mary soccer team still gives out an award called the "Liebo", named after Jon's birth name of "Liebowitz". It is given to the clown/sweetheart of the team.

Filed petition to make his name change official from Leibowitz to Stewart. When "60 Minutes" (1968) asked him why he dropped Leibowitz, Stewart explained: "Sounded too Hollywood". (June 2001).

And before you get critical about me using the International Movie Database, John McCain has one.

Another thing I noticed, is that Obama looks a good bit older in this interview.

Hey - I don't get this "Restore Sanity" tagline.
The Libs control the House, Senate and the White House? What are they attempting to restore sanity to?

"I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!"

Who among us has not wanted to open their window and shout that at the top of their lungs?

Seriously, who?
...
Because we're looking for those people. We're looking for the people who think shouting is annoying, counterproductive, and terrible for your throat; who feel that the loudest voices shouldn't be the only ones that get heard; and who believe that the only time it's appropriate to draw a Hitler mustache on someone is when that person is actually Hitler. Or Charlie Chaplin in certain roles.

Are you one of those people? Excellent. Then we'd like you to join us in Washington, DC on October 30 -- a date of no significance whatsoever -- at the Daily Show's "Rally to Restore Sanity." Ours is a rally for the people who've been too busy to go to rallies, who actually have lives and families and jobs (or are looking for jobs) -- not so much the Silent Majority as the Busy Majority. If we had to sum up the political view of our participants in a single sentence... we couldn't. That's sort of the point.

Think of our event as Woodstock, but with the nudity and drugs replaced by respectful disagreement; the Million Man March, only a lot smaller, and a bit less of a sausage fest; or the Gathering of the Juggalos, but instead of throwing our feces at Tila Tequila, we'll be actively *not* throwing our feces at Tila Tequila. Join us in the shadow of the Washington Monument. And bring your indoor voice. Or don't. If you'd rather stay home, go to work, or drive your kids to soccer practice... Actually, please come anyway. Ask the sitter if she can stay a few extra hours, just this once. We'll make it worth your while."

Somehow, from the ashes of what was once a great nation, now destroyed by liberalism and psuedo-socialism, beaten down by deviant sexual abomination, kicked in the crotch by reckless, mindless, juvenile diplomacy, rises a comic who liberals hail as the "man with common sense".

We are in so much more trouble than I thought......

You know I'm gonna be on this one.

Bill O Reilly just said that he doesn't know how extreme Stewart is, and that he may be Moderate, O REILLY!

Let me ask you something, if liberalism is truly to blame for the state of our Country, then why did our Country fall so far during Bush, a self proclaimed Conservative.

People like Jon Stewart because he speaks truth to power, much as he did in this interview. He has an advantage, because most people think that being a comedian he will be funny and soft, but he is very very serious, and tries very hard to expose the weak points of even a sitting President.

Stewart himself has very moderate views, he doesn't believe in Socialism or Marxism, he believes in a sane Country.

Bush allowed liberalism to dictate how he fought the war in Iraq.
Bush allowed liberal repubs in congress to create out of control budgets during wartime.
Then, when things were starting to go badly, America replaced the liberal Republican congress with a true blue liberal Dimocrap congress.
From there unemployment exploded, the DOW shit, and recession set in.

And all the while the little jokeman, Stewart, didn't object, didn't complain, didn't point out what was happening until it was too late. But, the little jokeman, Stewart, made a bundle with his jokes. And he continues to make a bundle. Only now, dipshits want to elevate him to some kind of godlike purveyor of truth and light.
The guy is no better than the smart ass who sat in the back of class shooting spitballs when the teacher turned her back.

Sorry buddy, but the Numbers disagree with you.
The Down Jones is at the same level it was at in 2004, halfway through Bush's presidency.
