I think Anou has missed out a very small part. There is a villain (this is my guess), I don't remember his name, who keeps offering help to Sudhakari. But Sudhakari always refuses to take his help politely as she don't want to end up confronting him.

I should say that this story is moving in a bit of unexpected lines, last week when Anu came to Sudhakari's home again, I thought (as usual) the hero has found that Sudhakari is only helping him and is not spoiling his child . But my guess went wrong
