I was watching Sedhu.I am not going to write anything about bgm as enough has been written to fill a book.The song Maalai en vedhanai...WOW!
the feature which struck me about this song was the sense of yearning...the sense of desperately looking for something.this has been one of IR songs` strongest points even in songs which were not about love failure-Thedal,I think is the correct word,in tamil.

Following is a list of my favorite songs in which this is very strong:
Vaan uyarndha-Idhayakkoil-this is THE IR song in this category
Rasave unnai naan-Thanikkattu raja
vaigaraiyil-payanangal mudivadhillai
Idhayam pogudhe-puthiya vaarpugal
Poongatru,pudhiranadhu-moonram pirai
