Best Playback Singer - Female

Many newcomers were brought into the field of playback singing, matching with the youthful new heroines. Among them were our nominees of Chinmayi, Mahathi and Shreya Goshal.

Old time singer Chitra was not forgotten, while 90s singer Harini too joined the race. S Janaki and P Sushila graced the way for the newer talents.

Mahathi and Chinmayi were wiped out early in the race, as the competition was mainly between Chitra, Harini and Shreya.

Who among the three will win this prestigious award?!
