I am cautiously optimistic. In his defense, I must say he gave a rather passionate speech years ago at
Christians united for Israel' conference.

That's a better way of saying it... sincerity has become an uncommon commodity these days, it is, at times, difficult to shake off one's cynicism. Old Newt did, however, open up a Pandora's Box... they are still howling in the media. I expect no less from the media... in fact, I expect very little from the mainstream media.
