As many of you know, I'm no fan of the Obama regime, since he is the worst president in the history of the United States. Mainly, he's a disaster for America and his foreign policy is a complete failure.

However... I will give credit where credit is due. In the past two weeks, Obama fought against the creation of a Palestinian/Iranian terror state. He made a very good speech at the UN and he is firm in stating that the US will veto any security council resolution authorizing the Palestinian state.

So it turns out that Obama is a RELUCTANT friend of Israel. If we disregard his appalling behavior towards PM Netanyahu and his '67 border speech, it turns out that the actions of the Obama regime have actually been very positive toward Israel. Apparently, Obama's advisors have had some words with him, and he's very much changed his tune since bringing his personal relationship with Israel to a crisis. In practice, I can't say that the Obama administration has been any worse toward Israel than previous administrations. And this administration -- so far -- has been as good a friend or even better in some cases than previous Republican administrations, DESPITE Obama himself.

Maybe it's the Jewish lobby. Maybe it's a lesson from Democrats losing in NY's District 9, maybe it's the drop in Jewish donations to the Obama campaign, or maybe it's just getting very close to the next presidential elections and Obama's on the ropes. Either way, I will give Obama credit where credit's due for his stance on the Palestinian state.

Of course, it remains to be seen which concessions Obama has wrangled out of Netanyahu in exchange. That may be the next huge problem Israel will face.
