Do you know the old Russian Jewish joke on this?

Bolsheviks go to a Chaim's house to get valuables as they been told that he has gold.
Bolsheviks: - Chaim, we've been told you are hiding gold in your house!
Chaim: - Yes, all 200pounds of it! Sarah, My Gold, they finally came for you!

Oren's "Six Days" research is really top notch. His other book on the "Middle East and America" is a bit pathetic - full of stereotypes and reads more like a "bathroom reader" with the likes of "Did you know that...." (Oren trying to be Fromkin but it's not working out).

Though he does sound like a good choice.
