The Pollard affair made me ashamed to be an American.

The initial reaction and the continued silence of the American Jewish community makes me happy to NO LONGER BE an American Jew. More Caspar Weinbergers in positions of power means that it's more likely that other Jonathan Pollards will happen.

The silence of the mainstream 'leaders' of the American Jewish community proves over and over that they learned NOTHING from their appeasement last century right on through today, however, there are PLENTY of American Jews like me who I wish would make you proud. Please don't confuse the so-called leadership with us real-life American Jews.

Sorry for the rant. This is one of my several hot buttons.
