Right, try and take the focus off of Islam.

Nooo. We should never do that! Let's pretend that every action by a Muslim on the planet takes place without any context, that every wrong done by a Muslim extends to all of us and that ever good is an exception to the rule. And most of all, let's pretend that every time a Muslim says something you don't want to here, he or she is lying. That's a good way to go forward.
