the machines were very troubling. While we don't know anything, there are large numbers of unanswered questions. Its difficult to conlcude that "the election was stolen." However, at this point, it is just as difficult to say "the election definately wasn't stolen." Of course, the Dems could start having balls and winning more local elections and none of this would be a problem.

I think that if the Democrats proposed a "New Defense Initiative" - which entailed upping border security, more aggressively going after terrorist groups at home and abroad, smarter trade policies (economic security) and smarter energy policy (including, despite the environmentalist and NIMBY lobby, tax breaks for more refeineries in the US, as now S.A. is building refineries to take even more profit out of oil!) at the expense of the Bush tax cuts and regressive tax policies which are hurting middle America to the benefit of the most elite...

Out-toughing the Republicans can work. They are too much about tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and corporate subsidies (medicare bill) and many don't really care about national security. Bull-Moose two.
