Aloka-D, if you find this pointless, then allow me to ask you one question: when Aloka-D dies, is Aloka-D's suffering extinguished?

Cheers, Thomas
Although addressed to Aloka-D I thought I would off a point

This is based around a "me" that suffers and a "me" that will stop suffering when "I" die

"I will be reborn" is a speculative view rooted in attachment, born of ignorance

"I wont be reborn" is a speculative view rooted in attachment, born of ignorance

"There is an afterlife" is a speculative view rooted in attachment, born of ignorance

"There is no afterlife" is a speculative view rooted in attachment, born of ignorance

As is the statement "I suffer" or "I am suffering"
