Hi James and welcome to the group!

We don't usually double up on topics but can maybe leave this one in both places for now. - Here we can focus on just a response from Theravadins - and other people can post about it in the General thread. Normally though, one would just choose one forum which one feels is best suited for the topic. The General Buddhist discussions forum is for a range of replies from everyone whatever their tradition or interest.
