I don't know who said it. "Never try to teach a pig to sing. It does no good and it annoys the pig."
On a related note, there is -- "No matter how hard you try; you can not baptise a cat."

Sometimes, it's not apathy. Sometimes, it's wisdom.

Yeah, well, I like to think I used wisdom but it might have been, afterall, just apathy.

But yeah, I like both of those quotes. Some things are not meant to be done.
