not here. you pay the same phone+data rate during your first 2 years as you do after your 2 year contract has been fulfilled.

If you pay the full price of the phone upfront some carriers will lower your monthly bill by $10 (and let you pay month-to-month instead of signing a 2 year contract) but by and large most cellular customers in the US pay a low upfront price and sign a 2 year contract.
