Are you aware that most Thais believe that simply being a farang makes one rich?
Are you aware of the stigma attached to being married to, or dating, a farang?
Are you aware of the many Thai women who brag about their Thai husband's/boyfriend's fortunes?

I am certainly aware of what you mentioned above and I must say that I overlooked the Thai couples and ignore their behaviours. Perhaps I was paranoid when some one (villagers) talked to me in the face that ' I got married to a poor white man ' unlike, such and such girls. " Their husbands built big houses that cost at least 3 millions Baht for them but your husband didn't do anything like that " ; " Their husbands give 30,000 baht to the wives to spend per month but your husband didn't give you any money " etc.... I meant good luck to them (if they are happy together). Though, I am not being jealous or anything like that, just don't get it some time and wondering if their farang husbands know about what goes around the village or maybe they know but have ' who cares ' attitude.
