I don't exactly have an answer, but I did find this definition of "Dtri Phum" which is the Thai translation of the "Three Worlds". There is a Wat Drai Phum in Phetchabun.

If you’d like to know the details and how to be in heaven or hell , it’s described in “ไตรภูมิพระร่วง” (dtrai poom prá rûang) - three worlds, the religious literary work written by พระมหาธรรมราชาลิไท - prá má-hăa tam-má-raa-chaa lí-tai, the king of Sukhothai dynasty in the Buddhist Era 1888 or 1345 AD. This ancient book was written with well systematic reference from 34 Buddhist scriptures. According to “ไตรภูมิพระร่วง”, there are 6 classes of Heaven and 8 major Hells, each major hell has 16 levels and each level has many sub levels, countless!!!
